Day 1

Prey Vor/Bavet Borders – Phnom Penh

  • Pick up at 08:00 AM at Prey Vor/Bavet Borders.
  • Depart for Phnom Penh city without a tour guide (approx. 3.5 hours).
  • Upon arrival, meet and be greeted by an English-speaking tour guide.
  • Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.
  • Visit Wat Phnom Daun Penh, a Buddhist pagoda that symbolizes Phnom Penh. Standing 27 meters high on a man-made hill, it is the city's most significant temple.
  • Visit the Royal Palace of Cambodia, the official royal residence. See the Throne Hall and Silver Pagoda, home to the “Emerald Buddha” and a floor covered with over 5,000 silver tiles.
  • Explore the National Museum, Cambodia’s largest museum of cultural history, housing Khmer art, sculptures, ceramics, bronzes, and more from various eras.
  • Visit the Independence Monument, built in 1958 to commemorate Cambodia's independence from France. Designed by Vann Molyvann, it features Naga heads and a lotus bud shape, echoing Angkorian style. Behind it stands a statue of King Norodom Sihanouk.

Day 2

Phnom Penh – Siem Reap

  • Enjoy breakfast at the hotel.
  • Depart for Siem Reap with a stop at Skun, also known as “Spider Village,” famous for its fried tarantulas and other insect snacks.
  • Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.
  • Visit Kampong Phluk, a floating village and mangrove forest on Tonle Sap Lake. Houses are built on stilts 6–9 meters high, adapting to seasonal water levels. Enjoy a peaceful boat ride through forest canals, observing wildlife and local life.
  • Transfer to the hotel for check-in.
  • Explore Pub Street — Siem Reap’s vibrant nightlife hub filled with food, music, and markets.
  • Optional: Ox Cart Ride – Take a 30-minute ox cart ride through Bakong village. See rice paddies, rural scenery, and traditional Khmer lifestyles. Ox carts have been used in Cambodia since ancient times.

Day 3

Siem Reap – Angkor Wat – Small Circuit

  • Enjoy breakfast at the hotel.
  • Visit the South Gate of Angkor Thom (Tonle Om Gate), one of five ancient city gates. Continue to Bayon Temple, famous for its serene stone faces and Buddhist influence, built under King Jayavarman VII.
  • Visit Baphuon Temple (11th-century Hindu temple), then Phimeanakas — a pyramid-style Hindu temple inside the Royal Palace enclosure.
  • Explore the Terrace of the Elephants, used by King Jayavarman VII for public ceremonies, and the Terrace of the Leper King nearby.
  • Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.
  • Visit Angkor Wat — the world’s largest religious monument, built by King Suryavarman II in the 12th century, initially dedicated to Vishnu and later transformed into a Buddhist temple.
  • Explore Ta Prohm, the iconic jungle-covered temple made famous by *Tomb Raider*, embraced by giant tree roots.
  • Climb Phnom Bakheng to witness a spectacular sunset view over Angkor Wat and the surrounding jungle.
  • Enjoy dinner and return to the hotel.
  • Note: Due to the limited number of tourists allowed at Phnom Bakheng during peak times, we recommend starting the climb early. Expect a wait of around 1 hour and 45 minutes to 2 hours.
  • Optional:
    • Sunrise at Angkor Wat: Begin the tour at 4:30 AM to catch the sunrise. Return to the hotel for breakfast before continuing the day's itinerary.
    • Shadow Puppet Performance: Enjoy a traditional Khmer storytelling show using light and leather puppets. Afterward, try playing with traditional string puppets. Showtime: 7:00 PM.
    • Phare Circus: A uniquely Cambodian circus that blends acrobatics, theater, music, and dance to tell powerful cultural stories. Showtime: 8:00 PM.
