Itinerary

Day 1

Arrive Phnom Penh

  • Arrival at Phnom Penh, Techo International Airport
  • Meet and greeting by our English-speaking tour guide and transfer to the hotel in Phnom Penh city.
  • Enjoy the nightlife at Walk Street in your own style, a food paradise where you can taste a variety of Khmer dishes and eat like a local.

Day 2

Phnom Penh – City Tour – Siem Reap

  • Enjoy breakfast at the hotel.
  • Start to visit Wat Phnom Daun Penh, a Buddhist temple pagoda that symbolizes the name of Phnom Penh. Standing 27 meters high on a man-made hill, Wat Phnom is the most significant temple in Phnom Penh.
  • Visit the Royal Palace of Cambodia, a complex of buildings that serves as the royal residence of the King of Cambodia. The Throne Hall and Silver Pagoda are the must-see parts of its complex. It features a royal temple officially called Preah Vihear Preah Keo Morakot but commonly referred to as Wat Preah Keo Morakot or temple of the Emerald Crystal Buddha. This pagoda houses a collection of priceless Buddha and historical objects, including the “Emerald Buddha” and the floor covered by more than 5,000 silver tiles.
  • Visit the National Museum, Cambodia’s largest museum of cultural history and the country’s leading historical and archaeological museum. It has the world’s largest collection of Khmer art, sculptures, ceramics, bronzes, and ethnographic objects dating from prehistoric times to periods before, during, and after the Khmer Empire.
  • Visit Independence Monument, built in 1958 to memorialize Cambodia's independence from France in 1953. The monument was designed by the renowned Cambodian architect “Vann Molyvann” in the shape of a lotus bud adorned with Naga heads to resemble the great Khmer temples at the Angkor historical sites. Behind the monument is a statue of His Majesty Preah Bat Samdach Preah Norodom Sihanouk, the father king of Cambodia.
  • Visit Central Market (Psar Thmey), a unique Art Deco building constructed in 1937. Inside, you’ll find a vast array of goods sold at bargain prices, from fresh produce to jewelry and souvenirs. Alternatively, explore Tuol Tum Poung Market, also known as the Russian Market, popular with Russian expats in the 1980s.
  • Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.
  • Depart for Siem Reap province with a stop at Skun, known as the “Spider Village.” This small market is famous for its unique insect delicacies, including fried tarantulas and crunchy scorpions.
  • Upon arrival in Siem Reap, have dinner at a local restaurant and transfer to the hotel for check-in.
  • Enjoying nightlife at Pub Street, the hub of activity when night falls in Siem Reap city. Note: You must dress appropriately when visiting the Royal Palace. Pants or skirts should cover your knees, and shirts must cover your shoulders. Optional-(Exclude): Ox Cart Ride – Take a 30-minute ox cart ride through Bakong village.

Day 3

Siem Reap – Angkor Wat – Small Circuit

  • Enjoy breakfast at the hotel
  • Visit the South Gate of Angkor Thom, or Tonle Om Gate, one of the five ancient gates within Angkor Archaeological Park. Angkor Thom is the last capital of the Khmer Empire, built by King Jayavarman VII in the late 12th century. Next, visit Bayon temple, built in the late 12th or early 13th century as a state temple of King Jayavarman VII.
  • The northwest of Bayon is called Baphuon, a Hindu temple built before Angkor Wat in the mid-11th century.
  • Visit Phimeanakas, a pyramid Hindu temple built at the end of the 10th century inside the Royal Palace of Angkor Thom.
  • Visit the Terrace of the Elephants and Terrace of the Leper King, built in the Bayon style under Jayavarman VII.
  • Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant
  • Visit Angkor Wat, the largest religious monument in the world, built in the early 12th century by King Suryavarman II as a Hindu temple dedicated to Vishnu. It gradually transformed into a Buddhist temple.
  • Visit Ta Prohm temple, famous for being in the film "Lara Croft: Tomb Raider."
  • Climb Phnom Bakheng for a stunning sunset view. Note: Limited tourist numbers; start climbing earlier.
  • Optional-(Exclude): Phare Circus and Shadow Puppet Performance in the evening.

Day 4

Siem Reap – Kampong Phluk – Phnom Penh

  • Enjoy breakfast at the hotel
  • Visit Artisans Angkor in Siem Reap, a center dedicated to preserving traditional Khmer craftsmanship.
  • Visit Kampong Phluk, a floating village and flooded mangrove forest on Tonle Sap Lake.
  • Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant
  • Transfer back to Phnom Penh by road (about 6 hours)
  • Upon arrival in Phnom Penh, transfer to the hotel for check-in
  • Optional-(Exclude): Ox Cart ride at Bakong (30 min) to see local life.
