Itinerary

Day 1

Arrive Siem Reap Angkor International Airport

  • Arrival at Siem Reap Angkor International Airport
  • Meet and be greeted by our English-speaking tour guide and transfer to the hotel in Siem Reap
  • Enjoy free time at leisure. Pub Street is the hub of activity when night falls in Siem Reap

Day 2

Siem ReapAngkor Wat – Small Circuit

  • Enjoy breakfast at the hotel
  • Visit the South Gate of Angkor Thom (Tonle Om Gate), one of five ancient gates of the fortified city built by King Jayavarman VII in the late 12th century
  • Visit Bayon Temple, a richly decorated Khmer Buddhist temple built as the state temple of King Jayavarman VII
  • Visit Baphuon, a Hindu temple built in the mid-11th century, located northwest of Bayon
  • Visit Phimeanakas, a pyramid Hindu temple built at the end of the 10th century within the Royal Palace enclosure
  • Visit the Terrace of the Elephants and the Terrace of the Leper King, both built in the Bayon style under Jayavarman VII
  • Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant
  • Visit the magnificent Angkor Wat Temple, the largest religious monument in the world, built by King Suryavarman II in the early 12th century as a Hindu temple dedicated to the god Vishnu, gradually transformed into a Buddhist temple
  • Visit the fabulous Ta Prohm Temple, embraced by the roots of enormous fig trees, and famously featured in *Lara Croft: Tomb Raider*
  • Climb up Phnom Bakheng hill for a stunning sunset view over Angkor Wat and the surrounding jungle
  • Enjoy dinner and then transfer back to the hotel

    Note: Due to the limited number of tourists allowed at Phnom Bakheng during peak times, we require you to start climbing a bit earlier. Please be prepared for a longer wait to watch the sunset, which can take around 1 hour 45 minutes to 2 hours.

    Optional-(Exclude):
    • Shadow Puppet Performance: Experience the magic of Khmer storytelling through shadow puppetry using light and leather. After the show, you can try your hand at traditional string puppets. Showtime is at 7:00pm.

Day 3

Siem ReapBeng MealeaKoh Ker

  • Starting the tour early, our guide will pick you up at 4:30am at the hotel lobby to watch the sunrise at Angkor Wat
  • Return to the hotel for breakfast
  • Visit Beng Mealea, an impressive jungle temple located about 68km northeast of Siem Reap, once completely overgrown by nature
  • Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant
  • Explore the Koh Ker temple group, a 10th-century temple complex located about 120km from Siem Reap, once the capital of the Khmer Empire
  • Visit Prang, a 7-tiered pyramid temple offering a 360-degree view of the dense forest, along with Prasat Pram, Prasat Krahom, Prasat Damrei Kandoeng, and Prasat Thom
  • Koh Ker was officially inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List on 17 September 2023
  • Return to Siem Reap
  • Have dinner and then transfer to the hotel

    • Phare Circus: More than just a circus — it combines theater, music, dance, and modern circus arts to tell uniquely Cambodian stories. Showtime is at 8:00pm.

Day 4

Siem ReapKampong PhlukRoluos Group

  • Enjoy breakfast at the hotel
  • Begin with a visit to Kampong Phluk, a floating village and mangrove forest on Tonle Sap Lake, where houses are built on 6–9 meter stilts
  • Take a boat ride through flooded forest canals, offering views of wildlife and a beautiful natural ecosystem
  • Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant
  • In the afternoon, visit the Roluos Group temples — Lolei, Preah Ko, and Bakong — among the earliest great temples of the Khmer Empire
  • Visit Artisans Angkor, known for traditional Khmer craftsmanship such as stone and wood carving, lacquer, and silk painting
  • Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant and return to the hotel

    Optional-(Exclude):
    • Ox Cart Ride: Take a 30-minute ride through Bakong village to see local daily life, rice paddies, and countryside views. The ox cart is a traditional mode of transport in Cambodia.
    • Cambodian Cooking Class: A 3-hour class with a local chef. Visit a local market to shop for fresh ingredients and learn to cook Khmer cuisine.

Day 5

Hotel — Airport

  • Enjoy breakfast at the hotel
  • Transfer to Siem Reap International Airport and wait for your flight back home

    Note: Please dress appropriately when visiting temples. Pants or skirts should cover knees, and shirts must cover shoulders — no sleeveless tops or singlets allowed. Authorities may deny entry or climbing access to those dressed inappropriately.
